Worldwide Missions
Immanuel participates in missions work worldwide, acting on Christ’s
Great Commission to make disciples of all nations. We support
missionaries of our denominational mission agency, Christian
Reformed World Missions (CRWM), working among Muslim communities
in Guinea and Nigeria. As supporters of the Christian
Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC), we reach out to people
in some of the world’s
poorest countries through relief and development projects. By
supporting the work of Barnabas
International, we contributed
to the training of pastors throughout the world. Immanuel also
has a partnership with the church Principe de Paz in Ensenada,
Mexico. Each year a team (mostly youth) go to Mexico to help with
Vacation Bible School and to help build houses for the needy.
We are also involved with the ministry of International
Students, Inc. on the Colorado State University campus. The team encourages
and supports church members to participate in short term missions
trips, the CRC Summer
Missions Program, conferences such as Urbana,
and intensive training like the Perspectives
on the World Christian Movement course.
